Metamorphosis: This Clay Statue soon to become bronze
The sculptor’s work shown here is in clay only. Below are pictures of the completed work. The Actor’s Corner Café chose Sculptor Matt Glenn for his wonderful gift of telling our story through his art. The process of creating the Chef Santo Sculpture took two years, from finding an artist to the final finish.
The Sculpture stands like a symphony director as he orchestrates and conducts the flavors of the foods bringing them together like musical notes. The goal is to produce a meal to remember as he looks within that place of aspiration. Cook with love.
For an art collector; the sculptures are a limited addition and are part of a suite entitled, “The Six Brothers.” A Chef Santo statue is unique and one of a kind. Only six statues were produced, all numbered and certified.
A sculpture of Chef Santo may be purchased by an art gallery, museum, university and other public institutions.
If you are a “foodie” person the sculpture of Chef Santo next to your cooking table, will inspire and invigorate you. The statue can be displayed indoors or outdoors as a “friend” who guides you to the art of cooking in your own private space. Sculpture of Chef Santo in Bronze stands 36 3/4” tall.
